Eduardo Cardoso

Eduardo Cardoso has a strong background in the power and utilities industry. Eduardo is currently the Business Director at dss+, where they oversee operations. Prior to this, they worked at GE Renewable Energy from 2016 to 2022, holding various roles including Sales Director and Engineering Director. During their time at GE, they successfully captured tender opportunities and secured large projects in the hydropower and solar sectors. Before joining GE, Eduardo worked at ALSTOM from 2002 to 2016, where they held positions such as Engineering Director, Project Director, Project Manager, and Engineering Technical Coordinator. In these roles, they led teams, managed projects, and implemented innovative strategies to ensure profitability and efficiency. Eduardo also gained early work experience at ABB as an Engineering Intern, where they gained experience in digital protection relay configuration, commissioning, and substation maintenance. Eduardo Cardoso has an extensive education history, beginning in 1997 when they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from FEI. In 2006 to 2007, they pursued an MBA Executive degree in Project Management at FIA Business School. Following this, in 2010 they completed a Post MBA program at FIA Business School specializing in Project Management. Later, in 2012, they attended the University of La Verne for an MBA Executive degree with a focus on Project Management. In 2023, they completed a program at IBGC | Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa, becoming a Member of the Board of Directors with a specialization in Corporate Governance.

Furthermore, Eduardo has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2009, they obtained both the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute and another certification simply titled "Project Management Professional." Additionally, in 2021, they completed a program at RegE Barros Correia Advisers, earning the "Especialização Executiva em Regulação do Setor Elétrico Brasileiro" certification.
