Vivian Nguyen

Vivian Nguyen is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Product Support Specialist at DURECT Corporation since November 2021. Prior experience includes roles such as a Research Assistant at Valverde Lab, where Vivian contributed to a museum exhibit proposal focused on the Vietnamese national dress while also enhancing social media and website content. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Starr Lab, Vivian supported research on cellular organelle positioning related to genetic and neurodegenerative diseases. Additional experience includes examining data from microbiology experiments at Martin Lab and participating as a Fellow at the Innovation Institute for Food & Health, gaining valuable skills in entrepreneurship and commercialization. Vivian also mentored incoming students at the UC Davis BioLaunch Mentor Collective. Vivian holds a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the University of California, Davis, completed in 2021.
