Irena Kropman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in development and fundraising, currently serving as the Associate Vice President of Development at Durham Community Health Centre since July 2021. Previously, Irena held significant roles such as Director of Community Relations, Marketing, Communications, and Fundraising at JDRF/FRDJ Canada and Corporate Partnerships & Philanthropy Manager for Central and Eastern Canada at Children's Wish Foundation of Canada. Additional experience includes a role as Development Specialist at Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre and Fundraising Events Manager at Ceridian, as well as a Bilingual Consultant at Scotiabank. Irena holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from McMaster University.
