Beth Bohannon

Beth Bohannon is an experienced music educator with a diverse background in teaching across various grade levels, currently serving as a vocal music instructor for grades 5-8 at Charlottesville City Schools since August 2016. With a strong foundation in general music instruction, Beth has worked with K-5 students at Durham Public Schools since August 2014, where responsibilities included integrating Common Core Standards, collaborating on cross-curricular initiatives, and leading community projects. Prior experience includes teaching lower school music at Vistation Catholic School and directing music ministries at Arlington Hills Presbyterian Church. Beth holds a postgraduate degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Longwood University, a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Lawrence University.
