Charae Hosey

Charae Hosey is an accomplished music educator and business owner with extensive experience in various teaching and performance roles. Currently serving as a Talented Music Teacher at Jefferson Parish Schools since January 2025, Charae previously held positions as Band Director at HOMER A PLESSY COMMUNITY SCHOOL and Jefferson Parish Public School System, as well as Director of Bands at New Orleans College Prep. With a career beginning in 2004, Charae operates C Hosey Productions LLC, providing musical services such as assembling bands, teaching instrument lessons, arranging music, and recording with various artists. Charae holds a Master's Degree in Music Education from William Carey University and a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Studies from The University of Southern Mississippi.
