Iwinosa I. has extensive experience in educational roles, currently serving as the Student Engagement & Opportunity Coordinator at Durham Public Schools since July 2021. Previous positions include Coordinator of Student Engagement at North Carolina State University and various fellowships focused on policy and community organization. Iwinosa I. has also taught English/Language Arts and Social Studies at the middle school level for several years, demonstrating a commitment to student engagement and leadership development. An alumnus of North Carolina State University, Iwinosa I. holds a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education, a Master of Education in Counselor Education, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership, Policy, and Human Development.
