Celeste Toombs RN, MSN, is the founder of Blue Owl Enterprises, PLLC, where expertise in end-of-life pre-need planning is provided through educational content and subscription services. With a rich background in nursing, Celeste served as a Utilization Review Nurse and a staff nurse at Duke University Health System from 1986 to 2013, handling various patient populations and improving case management processes. Additional experience includes roles as a GED Tutor at Durham Rescue Mission, Adjunct Lecturer at North Carolina Central University, Clinical Coordinator at Durham Technical Community College, Clinical Study Coordinator at Duke University’s Department of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and Project Director for the Durham Coalition to Reduce Infant Mortality. Celeste holds a Master’s Degree and multiple certifications from Duke University, along with a BSN from Temple University.
