Miles Weekes

Miles Weekes is currently serving as the Equalities Officer at The Durham Union Society, where responsibilities include overseeing the drafting and implementation of the Union's EDI policy and chairing a committee focused on promoting an inclusive environment. Previously, Miles held the position of Equalities Committee Representative, successfully elected as the LGBT+ Representative in the highly contested Michaelmas Term 2022 and reelected for subsequent terms. Additional experience includes a summer internship in Climate Change and Sustainability Services at EY, a role as Junior ESG Analyst for the Durham University Finance Society, and an assistant position at Crowe UK, providing outsourcing and accounts advisory services. Academic credentials include pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Combined Honours in Social Science (Economics and History) at Durham University, alongside early education at Maidstone Grammar School.
