Mohammed Mugaibel

Mohammed Mugaibel has a strong background in business development and project management within the petrochemical and chemical industries. Mohammed currently holds the position of Specialty Chemicals Business Development Director at Dussur since June 2020. Prior to that, they worked at SABIC as part of the Local Content Business Development Unit from July 2018 to May 2020.

From 2015 to 2018, Mohammed worked at Maire Tecnimont, where they were involved in project development and venturing. Mohammed'sresponsibilities included setting up and managing multi-disciplinary teams, designing project financial models, and evaluating potential petrochemical technologies.

Before joining Maire Tecnimont, Mohammed held the position of Global Benzene Sourcing Leader at SABIC Petrochemical in the Netherlands from March 2013 to April 2015. In this role, they were responsible for contracting benzene supply, managing the profit and loss of the global benzene optimization, and providing functional steering to regional business managers.

From April 2011 to February 2013, Mohammed worked as the European Methanol & MTBE Sales Manager at SABIC, where they were responsible for regional sales policies, executing sales plans, and achieving business strategies in the European market.

Prior to their role in sales, Mohammed worked at SABIC as a Methyl Alcohol Product Marketing Executive from July 2007 to March 2011. In this position, they managed global inventory and optimized storage tanks, enhanced profitability through netback optimization, and developed annual business plans. Mohammed also served as a Business Analyst at SABIC from January 2006 to June 2007, analyzing sales and marketing performance and providing market insights.

Early in their career, Mohammed worked as an Assistant Marketing Manager at Active Future Marketing Co. in Riyadh from January 2004 to June 2005, where they focused on event coordination, team leadership, and marketing project planning.

Mohammed Mugaibel began their education journey in 1999 at Oregon State University where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. Mohammed dedicated four years to this program and successfully completed it in 2003. After taking a break from academic pursuits, Mohammed enrolled in KSU in 2008 to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Mohammed focused their studies on Marketing and completed their degree in 2010.
