Tristan Sweeney has held a variety of roles in the software engineering field since 2014. In that year, they began as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Northeastern University. In 2016, they moved to NVIDIA as a Computer Architecture Engineer, where they performed research into neural network designs, profiled and debugged math library routines, and developed a performance modeling infrastructure for deep learning applications. In 2017, Tristan moved to Amazon Robotics as a Firmware Engineer, where they developed a tool for batched statistical analysis and visualization of complex LIDAR data, firmware to control an automated calibration fixture, and a static-analysis tool to identify dead code in a production code base. In 2018, Tristan joined Cambridge Consultants as an Embedded Software Engineer, where they developed embedded software for wireless devices, worked with Bluetooth in regular, low-energy, and music streaming profiles, and created and demo'd electromechanical assembly, firmware, and a python module for AI-controlled foosball opponent. Most recently, in 2021, Tristan joined DUST Identity as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer.
Tristan Sweeney attended Northeastern University from 2014 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering. Tristan also attended Brookdale Community College in 2014.
