Elijah Coley, Assoc. AIA, has a diverse work experience. In 2022, they began working as a Customer Success Manager VDC and Field Engineer at Dusty Robotics. From 2018 to 2022, they worked at Mahlum as an Architectural Staff II and Architectural Staff I. In their roles, they were responsible for BIM Management, design staff on a four-building 300,000 square foot student housing redevelopment, leading tutorials on digital design tools, assisting with Construction Administration for a three-building elementary school renovation, and attending on-site Owner Architect Contractor meetings. In 2017, they worked as an Architectural Intern at Mahlum. In 2016, they worked as an Architectural Drafter at architecture+ and as a Student Researcher at the Center for Architecture Science and Ecology, where they assisted graduate students with research papers, design prototyping, and preparation for exhibitions. Elijah also created graphics and presentational materials for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and designed and installed a pavilion for the Chale Wote Street Festival in Jamestown, Accra, Ghana. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Fabrication Shop Monitor School Of Architecture, School of Architecture Course Assistant - First Year Studios, and Student Orientation Advisor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Elijah Coley, Assoc. AIA, obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2018, with a focus in Architecture. In November 2022, they obtained 10-Hr OSHA Training for the Construction Industry from the University of South Florida.
