Mike Thompson

Mike Thompson has over 20 years of work experience in robotics, embedded systems, and software engineering. In 2019, they began working as a Principal Engineer at Dusty Robotics, where they build robot-powered tools to complete important tasks on construction sites. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Engineer at AREVO Inc in 2018, a Robotics Engineer at an unnamed Stealth Robotics Company (aka Zippy) in 2017, a Robotics System Engineer and Co-Founder at Shadowbox Technologies in 2016, a Robotics System Engineer and Consultant at OLogic, Inc. in 2012, a Founder and Co-Creator of Raspbian in 2012, a Robotics System Engineer and Co-Founder at RunBot in 2006, a Principal Engineer at A9/Amazon in 2004, a CTO and Co-Founder at Atomz in 1998, and a Director of Engineering at Macromedia in 1995.

Mike Thompson attended the University of the Pacific from 1983 to 1988, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Magna Cum Laude.
