Masud Hossain

Masud Hossain has over 30 years of work experience in the banking industry. Masud is currently serving as the Senior Executive Vice President at Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Executive Vice President at the same company from December 2011.

Before joining Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited, Masud held various roles at different companies. Masud worked as a Vice President at Citi from November 2005 to July 2011. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Assistant Vice President at Eastern Bank Limited from September 2004 to November 2005. Masud also worked as the Senior Assistant Vice President & Branch Manager at Dhaka Bank Ltd from September 2003 to August 2004.

Masud has extensive experience at Standard Chartered Bank as well. Masud served as the Branch Manager from April 1997 to September 2003. Before that, they worked at HSBC Bangladesh as an Officer Hexagon from September 1996 to April 1997. Masud began their career at Standard Chartered Bank as an Officer in Trade Finance from December 1991 to August 1996.

Masud Hossain completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business/Commerce, General from the University of Dhaka. Masud then pursued a Master's degree in Banking and Finance from the same institution, which they successfully obtained.
