Martin van der Vijver

Martin van der Vijver is a seasoned professional with a strong background in social entrepreneurship and business analysis. Currently serving as a Sociaal Ondernemer at Herberg Thuis since October 2020, Martin supports caregivers through the deployment of Buddies, addressing gaps in volunteer assistance. In addition, Martin is the Initiatiefnemer for Mantelzorg Katwijk, facilitating quick and easy access to services for caregivers in the region. Since October 2022, Martin has also held the position of Business Analyst at Dutch Flower Group. Previous experience includes working as an Assistent Accountant at Driebergen accountants. Academically, Martin holds a Master's degree in Leadership and Change Management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business from the University of Amsterdam, complemented by earlier education at Pieter Groen College.
