Michel van Hout

Michel van Hout serves as the Chief Information Officer at Dutch Flower Group since January 2018, focusing on digital optimization across its network of companies involved in the fresh cut flower and plant trade. Additionally, Michel holds positions as a board member of Floricode and as a member of the Supervisory Board of Floridata, both starting in January 2024. Prior to these roles, Michel was the Vice President of ICT and CIO at Transavia from October 2014 to December 2017, overseeing digitalization efforts and IT portfolio management. Michel's extensive background at KLM from 1992 to 2014 included various leadership roles, notably in operational management and brand development, emphasizing the integration of technology in key business processes. Michel's educational credentials include advanced studies from Harvard Business School and IMD, alongside a degree in business econometrics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
