Tjark Tjin-A-Tsoi

Tjark Tjin-A-Tsoi currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and chairman of the board of directors at TNO since June 2022. In addition, Tjark is a member of the supervisory board at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Dutch National Opera & Ballet, and Pré Wonen. Tjark also contributes to the International Strategic Advisory Committee of the Statistics Centre - Abu Dhabi and previously held the position of chairman of the supervisory board at Stichting Pensioenfonds voor Huisartsen until June 2022. Tjark's prior roles include Chief Executive Officer at Sanquin and Director General at Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek. Tjark's extensive experience also includes serving as Managing Director at the Netherlands Forensic Institute and Director of Antitrust at The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets. Tjark holds a Dr. degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Amsterdam.
