Chayla Ferguson

Chayla Ferguson, CTL, currently serves as the Director of Transportation at Duval County Public Schools, a position held since March 2015. In this role, Chayla acts as a liaison between parents, bus contractors, community members, and school district staff, while also handling investigations of grievances through school bus video surveillance, assessing student eligibility for transportation, and ensuring contractor compliance with transportation services. Prior to this, Chayla worked at The Suddath Companies as a Logistics Coordinator and Senior Clearing Administrator, and at Total Military Management, where responsibilities included ensuring shipment clearances, supervising staff, and improving operational processes. Chayla holds a BBA in International Business from the University of North Florida and an A.S. in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Florida State College at Jacksonville.
