Dr. Michael George

Dr. Michael George, Ed.D., MBA, currently serves as the School Principal at Duval County Public Schools since October 2021. With a commitment to education, Dr. George co-founded The Ghana Wisdom Foundation (now Operation Wisdom) in 2005, a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) organization focused on enhancing educational opportunities for students and educators in West Africa and America through service-learning. Prior experience includes roles as Chief Operating Officer at Enriched Schools, Principal at Cohen College Prep under New Orleans College Prep, Assistant Principal at ReNEW Schools, and Dean of Students for the School District of Philadelphia. Dr. George's educational credentials include a Doctor of Education in Urban Education and Leadership from Xavier University of Louisiana, a Master of Business Administration in International Business from Arcadia University, and other certifications in educational leadership from Relay Graduate School of Education and the University of Pennsylvania.
