Troy Barnes

Troy Barnes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Troy started their career as a Call Center Representative at GEORGESON SHAREHOLDER COMMUNICATIONS LIMITED in 2003, where they actively interacted with clients and conducted cold calls to encourage shareholders to round up their equity positions. In the same year, Troy also worked at the National Bank Correspondent Network as a Clerk - Account Transfer. During this time, they performed various clerical duties, with a focus on transferring securities between accounts and institutions. Troy's strong organizational skills led him to develop time-saving tools using excel macros.

Troy then transitioned to a Carpenter role at Bell in 2000, where they worked until 2004. In this position, they demonstrated their hands-on skills and expertise in carpentry.

In 2004, Troy joined National Bank Financial as a Registered Trader, and they held this position until 2012. As a Registered Trader, they managed trading activities for the bank.

In 2013, Troy joined DV Trading as a Proprietary Trader. In this role, they specialized in trading for the company. Lastly, in 2016, Troy founded their own company, Troy Barnes Builds, where they work as a General Contractor.

Troy Barnes began their education in 1999 at the University of Toronto, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in an unspecified field of study until 2000. Troy then enrolled at Sheridan College from 2001 to 2003, completing a degree in Finance.
