B. Pagels-Minor has a diverse work experience starting in 2013 with B.PM Consulting where they held multiple roles including Executive Coach, Angel Investor, Founder & Principal, Startup Advisor, and Professional Speaker. They also worked at Northwestern University as the Director of the Board of Directors Alumni Association. In 2015, they took on the role of Vice Chairperson and Secretary of the Board of Directors at Howard Brown Health, a prominent LGBTQ organization. B. Pagels-Minor also held the position of Vice President and Secretary of the Board of Directors at YWCA Metropolitan Chicago starting in 2018. Additionally, they have been involved with various organizations such as DVRGNT Ventures, The Black Wealth Salon, Expert Dojo, The Drops Podcast, Outfest, and Gaingels, where they have contributed as a Founder, Co-Founder, Scout, Co-host, and Investor respectively.

B. Pagels-Minor has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History, Political Science, and Asian American Studies from Northwestern University (2006-2008). B. also obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Management from Robert Morris University - Illinois (2012-2014) and a Master's degree in Management Information Systems, General from the same university (2009-2011). B. has a Certificate in International Law from the University of Oxford (2004) and attended Duke University from 2003-2005. B. Pagels-Minor has additional certifications including Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance (2017) and PMI-ACP from Project Management Institute (2017).
