B. K. Agarwal

He is a retired IAS of 1967 batch and holds a degree in commerce and law. He was awarded the Laxmi Narain Prize for securing highest marks in banking in the Pune University. He was the secretary (Transport) and secretary (Industries) in Maharashtra. During his tenure of service with government, he was representative of Govt. of Maharashtra on the Board of Bombay Stock Exchange from 1994-1995. He has been on the board of Industrial Investment Bank of India, SIDBI, SICOM and was also managing director of the Maharashtra State Financial Corporation. He retired as additional chief secretary, govt. of Maharashtra in August 2002.
