Clinical Trainee at Dwellness Therapy

Michael Madormo is an experienced professional in the fields of psychotherapy, education, and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Training Psychotherapist and Administrative Coordinator at Critical Therapy Center since September 2020, Michael also holds a Clinical Trainee position at Dwellness In-Home Psychological Services, focusing on virtual and in-home therapy. Additionally, Michael contributes to Teach For America as a Curriculum Designer and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusiveness Facilitator. As a co-founder and co-director of the "I Know I Can" Summer Academies, Michael works with Palestinian students on English and college preparation. Previous roles include Director of College Counseling at Taawon (Welfare Association) and various teaching positions, including English teacher and IB English teacher. Michael's academic background includes a Master's in Clinical Social Work from Hunter College and a Master's in Special Education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, complemented by Bachelor's degrees in International Studies from Boston College and War Studies from King's College London.
