Dan Simpkins has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Dan is currently the Founder and CEO of Dwellwell Analytics, Inc., where they lead a team in developing a comprehensive smart home product. Prior to this, Dan was an investor at Hillcrest Capital Investors, specializing in angel investments. Dan also held the position of Executive Vice President at InterDigital Communications, where they oversaw a division focused on sensor-based products and services for consumer products. Additionally, Dan was the Founder and CEO of Hillcrest Labs, a company that pioneered natural user interfaces for TV and developed software and hardware for consumer electronics products. Dan also served as the General Manager of the SALIX Switching Division at Tellabs, which they founded as their first entrepreneurial venture. At SALIX Technologies, Dan was the CEO and successfully built the company into a profitable business before securing venture capital funding. Throughout their career, Dan has demonstrated expertise in technology, entrepreneurship, and investment.

Dan Simpkins attended Cornell University, where they studied Electrical Engineering and Biology, earning a BSEE degree with Distinction. Dan then pursued further education at Cornell University, focusing on Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, and obtained an MENG degree.
