James Aitken

James Aitken serves as the Dean of Students and Athletics Coordinator at Dwight-Englewood School since September 2011, overseeing a middle school population and managing various academic and athletic programs. Aitken also founded Admissions Advocates in January 2021, providing independent school admissions counseling. Prior experience includes directing multi-sport overnight summer camps and holding various educational roles at Trinity-Pawling School and Francis W. Parker Charter School, focusing on student coordination and curriculum development. Aitken holds an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Athletic Administration from Southern New Hampshire University and several other advanced degrees in education and leadership.
