Bas Pluim

Bas Pluim is a distinguished engineer at IBM, leading the DevSecOps and IT Automation Practice since March 2000, with a focus on helping large companies accelerate software delivery through process improvement and collaboration. Bas has held various leadership roles, including DevSecOps/SRE Practice Leader and DevOps Consultant, while also serving as a Cloud/DevOps solution architect, designing agile software delivery processes and cloud solutions. Earlier career experiences include managing a team of IT Architects and creating a Cloud offering for mobile development. Bas began professional development with software development roles at Analysts International, following a Bachelor of Science in Informatics from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
