Phillippa Pearson

Phillippa Pearson has a strong background in the water industry, with experience working at Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water and Severn Trent Water. At Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water, they held multiple roles including Head of Water Services Science, Catchment Manager, DWSP Operations Scientist, and Water Treatment Production. Phillippa began their tenure at Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water in 2006 and is currently still employed in their role as Head of Water Services Science. Prior to that, they worked at Severn Trent Water as a Senior Water Quality Scientist and as a Graduate Trainee in Water Treatment from 2003 to 2006.

Phillippa Pearson completed their education at Aberystwyth University. From 1997 to 2000, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geography. Following that, they went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Geography from the same university, which they completed between 2000 and 2003. In addition to their academic achievements, Phillippa also earned the certifications of Chartered Scientist (CSci) from The Science Council in March 2014, and Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) from the Member of Institute of Water Officers in October 2011.
