Richie Deen

Richie Deen is an experienced energy operations manager with a strong background in electrical engineering. Currently serving as Energy Operations Manager at Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water since September 2020, Richie has been involved in various renewable generation projects, including solar PV and wind turbines, and is skilled in project management, notably upgrading renewable generation portfolios. Prior to this role, Richie worked as a Projects Engineer at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, successfully implementing a new $4MM production line, and held the position of Operations Manager at Schneider Electric, overseeing a team of support engineers across multiple sectors. Richie's career began as an apprentice electrician at Bosch and includes relevant experience at NHS Wales. Educational qualifications include a First Class Honours degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Wales and advanced certifications in building controls and leadership from Schneider Electric and BCIA.
