Laurent Locquet

Laurent Locquet is an Honorary Associate Professor in Small Animal Cardiology at the University of Nottingham and a Cardiology Specialist at Dick White Referrals, both positions held since March 2022. Previously, Laurent served as a Cardiology Clinician at The Ralph Veterinary Referral Centre and at Specialist Veterinary Cardiology Consultancy Ltd from October 2020 to September 2021. Between August 2017 and September 2020, Laurent was an ECVIM-CA (Cardiology) Resident at the University of Ghent. Prior experience includes a Veterinary Internship at Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists and a role as a Veterinarian in General Practice. Laurent's professional journey began with volunteer work in small animal, zoo, and wildlife medicine internships in 2015. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine from Ghent University, complemented by earlier education at Heilig-Hart College and the European School of Postgraduate Veterinary Studies.
