Dr. Yannik Bofinger

Dr. Yannik Bofinger is a Product Specialist at DWS Group since May 2022, focusing on ESG investment advisory for institutional clients and large corporates, and developing ESG-related investment product frameworks. Prior to this role, Dr. Bofinger served as a Research Associate at Justus Liebig University Giessen from July 2018 to May 2022, conducting academic research on CSR and sustainable finance, publishing papers in esteemed journals, and teaching a master's course on Corporate Social Responsibility and ESG investing. Dr. Bofinger also has experience as a Lecturer at the Institute for Law and Finance, and held internships and positions at Deutsche Bank and Consileon Frankfurt GmbH, with a solid educational background in economics culminating in a Ph.D. focused on sustainable finance and corporate social responsibility from Justus Liebig University Giessen.
