Thorsten Broecker

Thorsten Broecker is an experienced professional in regulatory affairs and compliance, currently serving as the Head of Regulatory Advocacy and Analysis at DWS Group since December 2016. Prior roles within DWS include positions in Compliance Regulatory Management and Regulatory Affairs for Asset Management in Germany and Luxembourg. Previously, Thorsten worked at Deutsche Bank in Regulatory Affairs for Asset and Wealth Management, and at DekaBank in Regulatory Services. Additional experience includes consulting roles at Capco and Steria Mummert Consulting AG, as well as positions at DZ Bank and PwC. Thorsten began his career as a project manager at Commerzbank AG and held a role at LBBW. Thorsten holds a Diplom in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from Paderborn University, completed in 1997.
