Harshil Shah has worked in various roles since 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Software/Systems Engineer Intern at Technical Bazaar Solutions Pvt Ltd, where they developed information forms for clients and modeled and built a database in Oracle using SQL. In 2015, they worked as a Curator at DigitalMR Ltd, where they performed emotion analysis on a set of tweets. Harshil also worked as a Tier-1 Support Engineering Intern at Motionsoft, where they helped in troubleshooting tickets, generating reports using SQL, database management, and debugging web applications. In the same year, they worked as a Graduate Learning Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Penn State University. In 2016, they worked as a Data Scientist at Softweb Solutions, where they led the data science team and was involved in making a custom machine learning platform and integrating an IoT platform with data science capabilities. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Perficient as a Senior Data Scientist, where they implemented a metadata-driven ingestion framework to build out a central data lake using several big data tools and consulted on implementing their Data Science framework and practice. In 2019, they also worked at DXFactor as a Director of Product Management and Engineering and Senior Data Scientist. Finally, in 2020, they became an Official Member of the Forbes Technology Council.
Harshil Shah has a diverse educational background. Harshil obtained a Product Management Certificate from Product School in 2021, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University between 2014 and 2016, a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering between 2010 and 2014, and attended Kishinchand Chellaram College of Arts Commerce and Science between 2008 and 2010. Harshil also attended Activity High School - India between 2003 and 2008. In addition to their formal education, Shah has also obtained several certifications, including a Product Analytics Micro-Certification and a Product-Led Growth Micro-Certification (PLGC) from Product School in 2022, a Product Manager Certificate from Product School in 2021, a Microsoft Certified Professional - Analyzing Big Data with Microsoft R from Microsoft Advanced Analytics in 2018, and several certifications from Coursera in 2018.
