Laurent Chanas

Laurent Chanas has a strong background in product ownership and image science. Laurent started their career as an R&D Engineer at Vision IQ in 2001, where they worked until 2003. From 2003 to 2015, Laurent held various roles at DxO, including Image Science Director and R&D Image Processing Lab Manager. During this time, they contributed to the development of cutting-edge imaging technologies and award-winning software. In 2015, Laurent became the Product Owner for DxO Analyzer, a role they held until 2017 when they joined DxOMark Image Labs. At DxOMark, they took on the position of Product Owner for the Analyzer product, where they were responsible for defining products, P&L, and roadmaps for image quality evaluation. Laurent has experience leading scrum teams and expertise in image processing, software, mechanics, electronics, and optics R&D. Laurent'swork experience indicates a passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering high-quality imaging solutions.

Laurent Chanas completed their education in a chronological order. Laurent obtained a Phd Thesis in Image Processing from DGA/CNRS from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they pursued a DEA (Diplôme d'études approfondies) in signal and image processing at CY Cergy Paris Université from 1997 to 1998. Laurent also has an engineering degree from Ecole nationale supérieure de l'Electronique et de ses Applications, specializing in Electronics, measure, and instrumentation, which they completed from 1994 to 1997.
