Rémy Moulin began their work experience in 2009 as an intern at Janvier and the Centre Photographique d'Île-de-France. In 2010, they interned at Les Rencontres d'Arles, where they worked at the reception and assisted visitors and professionals. The following year, they continued their internship at Les Rencontres d'Arles, managing a collection of photography books. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Digital Lab Assistant at École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie, where they assisted students with graphic conception and technical questions related to printing and color management. In 2012, Rémy worked as a Printer at Olympus France and Voies Off, Arles. Rémy also briefly worked as an Assistant at Réunion des Musées Nationaux in the same year. Rémy then embarked on a freelance career as a photographer and retoucher in 2013. Finally, in 2017, they joined DXOMARK as an Image analyst and technician, eventually becoming an Image Quality Specialist.

Rémy Moulin started their education in 2007 at Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée, where they earned a General Academic Studies Degree in Art History. In 2009, they enrolled at École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie and completed their studies in 2012, earning a Diplôme de l'École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in the field of Photographie. In 2010-2011, Rémy Moulin also attended the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund, but the degree they pursued during that time is not specified.
