Sira Ferradans, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of Computer Vision and Data Science. Sira is currently employed as the AI Scientific Director at DXOMARK since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at SUEZ as a Senior Data Scientist from 2020 to 2022. In this role, they led successful projects in Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing, generating revenue and defining technological advancements for future projects.

Before SUEZ, Sira served as the Chief Research Scientist at Fortia Financial Solutions from 2016 to 2020. In this position, they led a team of 20 researchers, developed research and data analytical methods, and provided technical support for company management and business development. Sira also played a key role in discovering, designing, and developing machine learning algorithms using Deep Learning, NLP, and time series prediction/anomaly detection.

Sira's research career began as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at École normale supérieure from 2015 to 2016, focusing on color transport in images and the study of reflections. Sira then joined Duke University as a Post-doc Associate in 2014, where they contributed to research in color transport and reflections. Prior to that, they worked as a Post-doc fellow at CNRS from 2011 to 2013, conducting research on texture mixing and color transfer using Optimal Transport.

Sira's academic journey started at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where they completed their PhD in Computer Vision from 2006 to 2011. Their research focused on algorithms in Image Processing and Computational Photography, specifically in the areas of Tone Mapping, Demosaicking, and HDR image creation. During their time at the university, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant. Furthermore, they served as a Teaching Assistant at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2005.
