Shakirat Owolabi

Shakirat Owolabi has been working in the IT industry since 2014. Shakirat began their career as a Technical Specialist at Ibwas Nigeria Limited. In 2017, they moved to City Electric Supply, where they worked as an Aws DeVops engineer. In this role, they were responsible for developing and building IT solutions, understanding of high availability architecture and concepts, and performing routine application maintenance tasks, including Pipeline, Scripting and troubleshooting. In 2020, they joined DYL as a DevOps Engineer.

Shakirat Owolabi obtained their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from Lagos State University between 2011 and 2014. Shakirat then went on to receive their Associate's degree from Wayne County Community College District between 2018 and 2021. In addition, they have obtained multiple certifications, including an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2020, an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations 2020 Certified Associate from Oracle in May 2020, an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), a DeVops Amazon Web Services from SkillValue, and a DevOps - Kubernetes from SkillValue.
