Sreya Dutta, Ph.D has held various roles in research and development since 2001. In 2001, they were a Senior Project Associate at I.I.T. Kanpur-Samtel. From 2005 to 2009, they were a Microscopy Lab Operator at Lehigh Microscopy School. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Post Doctoral Research Associate at Lehigh University. Since 2011, they have been employed at Dynalene, where they have held roles as R&D Manager, R&D Lead, and Materials/Corrosion Scientist. As Materials/Corrosion Scientist, they managed internal and customer R&D and was Principal Investigator on a Phase II NSF funded grant. Sreya also conducted corrosion testing of various metals in coolants and heat-transfer fluids via electrochemical corrosion and ASTM methods, and detailed characterization of the metals using SEM, EDS, optical microscopy etc.
Sreya Dutta, Ph.D completed their Bachelors in Ceramics at Calcutta University (College of Ceramic Technology). Sreya then went on to pursue a Masters in Materials Science Program at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur from 1999 to 2001. In 2003, they began their Ph.D in Materials Science and Engineering at Lehigh University, which they completed in 2009. In 2012, they completed a Continuing Education Outreach program in Corrosion: Fundamentals and Experimental Methods at Penn State University.
