Magnus Refthammar

Magn Refthammar has been working in the industry since 2011. Magnus began their career as a Laborant at ALcontrol Laboratories in 2011, where they were responsible for making and controlling the quality of different substrates, as well as preparing, carrying out and analyzing different tests. In 2014, they took on the role of Master Thesis Student at Arla Foods amba, where their thesis focused on product development and evaluation of the products. Magnus also became a Supervisor at LIU that same year, where they were a driving force in a non-profit association dedicated to compete in the global synthetic biology competition, iGEM. From 2015 to 2018, Magnus Refthammar held multiple roles at different companies. Magnus was a Project Manager at ÅF Industry, CEO and Project Manager at FutureMe Labs, Consultant at Liu Innovation, and Engineer at Sparv. Finally, in 2018, they became the Head of R&D at Dynamic Code AB.

Magn Refthammar obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) and an Engineer's Degree in Biotechnology Engineering from Linköping University between 2008 and 2014. In 2017, they received certifications in PRINCE2 (Projects in Controlled Environments 2) Practitioner, PRINCE2 (Projects in Controlled Environments) Foundation, and IPMA Project Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice and IPMA: International Project Management Association, respectively.
