Imran Ahmed Farooq

Imran Ahmed Farooq has significant work experience in project management, particularly in the fields of IT and finance. Imran is currently the Head of PMO at Dynamics Solution and Technology, where they oversee the establishment and management of the PMO organization. Prior to this, they served as the Head of PMO and Solutions at Power International Holding, where they managed a diverse portfolio of businesses in Qatar. Imran also worked at Al Ghurair as a Project Manager/Lead Financial Applications, leading IT projects and managing the financial applications team. Imran has experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant at Raqmiyat, where they conducted pre-sales activities and supported the sales team. Additionally, they worked at KPMG Pakistan as a Deputy Manager, leading technical and functional teams in multiple areas. Imran also served as a Project Manager ERP - Manager MIS at The City School Official, where they oversaw the implementation of Oracle Financial and BI Applications. Imran began their career at Shamsi Industries as an Assistant Manager Finance and MIS, eventually becoming the Manager Finance and MIS. Imran also gained experience as a Computer Programmer/Accountant at Colony Thal Textile Mills Limited. Overall, Imran has demonstrated expertise in project management, finance, and IT, with a focus on implementing and optimizing systems and processes.

Imran Ahmed Farooq earned a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry, Physics, and Maths from the University of the Punjab from 1987 to 1989. Imran then pursued an MBA in Finance from TIU-The International University, Missouri, USA, studying from 1990 to 1996. Additionally, in December 2016, they obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
