Steve Shrum

Steve Shrum is an experienced power trader with over nine years of expertise in physical power scheduling, virtual trading, and short-term financial power trading across various markets including MISO, PJM, ERCOT, SWPP, NEPOOL, NYISO, and IESO. Currently holding the position of Power Trader at Dynasty Power since June 2011, Steve has also managed assets in wind, gas, and coal for five years. Prior to this role, Steve served as an East Cash Trader at Transalta, focusing on arbitrage from March 2008 to June 2011, and has experience as an Equities trader at Swifttrade in 2007-2008. Steve holds a degree from the University of Alberta, completed between 2000 and 2005.
