Neil Omega

Neil Omega has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Neil has worked as a Principal Specialist in GCP/GVP Quality and Compliance at Dynavax Technologies since July 2023. Prior to this, they were an Independent Consultant at Prime Solutions starting in August 2021. From September 2022 to June 2023, Neil served as a Quality Assurance Manager at Rejuvenate Bio.

Before that, they held positions at CSL Behring, MedMen, Kite Pharma, and Genentech. At CSL Behring, they worked as a Clinical Senior Compliance Advisor, Quality Assurance, and Quality Assurance Specialist. Neil was responsible for guiding the implementation of quality programs and management systems for gene and cell therapy products, as well as conducting deviations and investigations, CAPAs, and internal audits.

At MedMen, Neil was a Compliance Auditor, overseeing company compliance through operational audits and root cause analysis. At Kite Pharma, they excelled as a Quality Assurance Associate, providing technical support in clinical manufacturing and materials management and ensuring product quality. At Genentech, they served as a Quality Assurance Specialist, specializing in quality control-related discrepancies and root cause analysis.

Neil also has experience from their time at the University of California, Davis, where they worked as a Student Assistant, and at McDonald's Corporation and Forever 21, where they held roles in management and sales.

Neil Omega graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. Prior to that, they attended Modesto Junior College from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Biological Sciences. Neil also has additional certifications including Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross, Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT) from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Pacific Sierra Region Diploma from McDonald's, and Roche Lean-DMAIC White Belt Certification from Genentech.
