Ray Labayo

Ray Labayo has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Ray has held various management positions in drug safety and pharmacovigilance. Their most recent role was as the Director of Operations for Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance at Dynavax Technologies. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Director at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc., Horizon, AveXis Inc., Horizon Pharma plc, Jazz Pharmaceuticals, BioSoteria Inc. (A Dohmen Company), and Baxter Healthcare. Ray Labayo has a strong background in global drug safety and pharmacovigilance operations, technical systems, patient safety, and PV operations. Ray also has experience in managing safety operations for pharmacovigilance globally. Before entering the pharmaceutical industry, they worked as a Registered Nurse at Loyola University Chicago Medical Center.

Ray Labayo completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Purdue University from 1995 to 1999. Ray also participated in a study abroad program at Sommerville College, Oxford University in 1996. Ray Labayo then pursued an MBA in International Business at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management from 2004 to 2008.
