Kanishaka Sharma

Kanishaka Sharma has a diverse work experience across various industries and roles. Kanishaka is currently working at Dyne as a Product Manager, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Rotman Commerce Innovation Group, where they held multiple positions such as Director of Professional Development and Director of Corporate Relations from 2021 to present. Kanishaka also worked as an Intern at the same organization from 2021 to 2022. In 2022, Kanishaka worked at Rotman Commerce Competition Team as a Junior Competitor. Kanishaka has also gained experience at Microsoft as a Business Consultant from 2023 to 2023. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Net Solutions from 2022 to 2022, and as a Market Gravity Consultant at Market Gravity, a Deloitte Business, from 2022 to 2022. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Under Secretary-General of Finance (USG Finance) at SAISMUN from 2020 to 2021, and was an Advanced Delegate from 2019 to 2021. Kanishaka also had a role as a Member at National Honor Society from 2019 to 2021. Kanishaka gained internship experience at Railsbank in 2020 and at Active.Ai in 2019.

Kanishaka Sharma began their education in 2012 at the United World College of South East Asia, where they completed their secondary education. From 2019 to 2021, they attended Stamford American International School in Singapore, completing the International Baccalaureate program. Currently, starting in 2021 and continuing until 2025, they are pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Financial Management Services at the University of Toronto. In addition to their formal education, Kanishaka has obtained additional certifications, including Introduction to Data Science in Python from the University of Michigan in June 2022 and Trinity Grade 6: Rock & Pop Guitar from Trinity College London in June 2018.
