Stefano Zanotti has a diverse work history in the field of biomedical research. Stefano has held various positions in different organizations, starting as an Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut in 2010. Stefano'sresearch focused on the network of signaling pathways that regulate skeletal cells' differentiation and function.
In 2006, Zanotti joined Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center as a Postdoctoral Fellow, where they gained extensive experience in analyzing the skeletal phenotype of genetically modified mice. Stefano also worked as a Research Scientist at the same institution from 2010 to 2014.
Zanotti then transitioned to the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 2014, where they became an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Medicine. During this time, they contributed to the development of investigative treatments for musculoskeletal diseases.
In 2018, Zanotti joined Sanofi as an Associate Director and was later promoted to Director of Rare Renal and Musculoskeletal Diseases. In this role, they led cross-functional teams working on treatments for musculoskeletal diseases using various approaches such as AAV gene therapy, enzyme replacement, and small molecules.
Most recently, Zanotti started working at Dyne Therapeutics in 2020 as the Director to Head of Neuromuscular Research. Unfortunately, no specific details regarding this role were provided.
Throughout their career, Zanotti has demonstrated expertise in musculoskeletal research, including genetics, signaling pathways, and phenotype analysis. Stefano has also been responsible for managing teams and demonstrating accountability for productivity and professional development.
Stefano Zanotti obtained a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the Università degli Studi di Bari, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science degree in Biology at the Università degli Studi di Genova, between 1997 and 2002. Stefano began their academic journey at Liceo Scientifico A Issel, where they earned their High School Diploma in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies, from 1992 to 1997.
