Kent Nelson

Kent Nelson is an experienced operations professional specializing in power generation. Since January 2009, Kent has served as the Operations Production Manager at Dynegy's Moss Landing Power Plant, overseeing a facility with a capacity of 2529 MWs of electricity for Northern California. Prior to this role, Kent held the position of Operations Foreman at WoodGroup from October 2001 to January 2009 and worked as an operator at the Orange County Sanitation District from 1990 to 2001. Kent earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix between 2003 and 2007 and also attended Orange Coast College from 1993 to 2000. Kent completed high school at Canon City High School, graduating in 1975.
