Björn Heinz

Björn Heinz serves as the Investment Director for Yara Growth Ventures at Yara International, focusing on investments in startups and venture capital funds in the food and agriculture sectors, along with green hydrogen initiatives. In addition, Björn holds several advisory and board observer positions at companies such as Dynelectro, Ecorobotix, and Sabanto, all aimed at promoting sustainable energy solutions and agricultural innovation. Previous experience includes roles at Chemovator GmbH, Provivi, P2 Science, Chrysalix Venture Capital, and Pangaea Ventures. Björn's educational background includes a PhD in Physics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and advanced business training from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and the University of California, Berkeley.
