Reynier Cruz Torres

Reynier Cruz Torres, Ph.D., currently serves as a Deep Learning Engineer and Tech Lead at Dyneti Technologies, Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this role, Reynier was an Experimental Physics Postdoctoral Researcher at Berkeley Lab from April 2020 to April 2023, contributing to the ALICE collaboration focused on quark-gluon plasma studies through statistical analysis of large datasets. Reynier's earlier experience includes serving as an Experimental Physics Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from September 2015 to April 2020, studying Short-Range Correlations in nucleons. Reynier's foundational experiences include participation in the MINERvA collaboration at the University of Florida from August 2013 to July 2015 and an internship at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in June 2013. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics from MIT, a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Florida, and an Associate of Arts in Physics from Miami Dade College, along with notable training at the United States Particle Accelerator School.
