Jeff G. began their professional career in 2012 as a Server at Dublin Retirement Village. In 2015, they became a Technology Sales Specialist at Staples, where they provided personalized technical support to customers and assisted them with finding office electronics to meet their needs. In 2017, Jeff G. joined Robintek as a Web Designer, where they designed websites and social media content for local and national businesses, implemented design prototypes as fully functional web apps, and developed custom features to extend Robintek's CMS. In 2019, Jeff G. became a Frontend Developer at BVA Commerce, where they developed and maintained storefront themes and admin interfaces for Shopify Plus clients, increasing conversion rates for them. Jeff also built and implemented interactive page layouts using mock-ups from the design team. In 2021, Jeff G. began freelancing, and in 2022 they joined DYODE as a Frontend Developer, where they audited and optimized website performance and accessibility with quantifiable results and significant improvements in speed, SEO, and accessibility scores. Jeff handled both project and retainer work, providing accurate estimates and translating requirements into actionable tasks. With retainer work, they proactively fixed bugs and integrated new features into existing sites' ecosystems, whereas doing project work they were able to create clear and concise outlines that they then turned into efficient and maintainable code.
