Kate Bertoncello worked as a primary teacher until 2016 when she retrained in Multisensory Structured Language (MSL) through the Australian Dyslexia Association. This resulted from her frustration with the lack of support available for her newly assessed dyslexic son, as well as her own inadequacy in knowledge and awareness about dyslexia.
