Joon Kim has extensive experience in the finance and corporate governance sectors, currently serving as a Board Member at DZS and Bank of Hope since October 2019 and January 2020, respectively. Prior to these roles, Joon Kim spent over three decades at KPMG, culminating as the National Partner in Charge of the Korean Practice and Audit Partner, after progressing through various financial statement audit roles. Joon Kim's early career included a position as a Field Examiner with the State of California's Department of Corporations. Joon Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of California, Berkeley, and has also studied at Seoul National University.
