Thomas Carter, CPP

Thomas Carter, CPP has over 27 years of experience in the security industry. Thomas began their career in 1993 as Regional Security Manager for SAIC, where they managed the National Industrial Security Program of the Systems and Technology Solutions Business Unit. Thomas also served as Facility Security Officer (FSO) for the Huntsville campus with 2300 cleared employees and 70 information systems. In 1994, they became an active member of ASIS International and NCMS, Inc. - The Society of Industrial Security Professionals. In 2011, they joined ManTech as Program Security Manager and Site Lead for ManTech's security services contract with the Missile Defense Agency's Special Programs Division. Thomas then joined Systems Products and Solutions in 2011 as Corporate Security Manager, responsible for execution and planning of security policy and development. In 2015, they became Security Director for Cubic Corporation, where they implemented business security standards that achieved ROI financially and administratively. In 2017, they joined Lockheed Martin as Facility Security Officer, where they managed physical security, 24/7 guard operations, COMSEC account, investigations, business continuity and crisis management. In 2019, they became Manager, Security Services for Anduril Industries, and in 2021 they joined DZYNE Technologies as Security Director.

Thomas Carter, CPP holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement Administration and a Minor in Security Management from Western Illinois University. Thomas is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) from ASIS International, obtained in January 2013, and a Facility Security Officer (FSO) from Defense Security Service, obtained in May 1992.
